Our Marshmallows

Our marshmallows come in 8 flavors:
  • Strawberry
  • Raspberry
  • Mango
  • Passion Fruit
  • Pineapple
  • Chocolate
  • Vanilla
  • Cinnamon
We also offer other seasonal flavors throughout the year. For the fall and upcoming holiday season, we're offering the following flavor:
  • Peppermint - Through Dec 31, 2012
All of our marshmallows are hand made in very small batches to order. Fresh fruit puree is used to make our fruit-flavored marshmallows and we use premium chocolate from our local Bay Area chocolate company, Guittard, to make our chocolate marshmallows. Our vanilla marshmallows are flavored with Nielsen-Massey vanilla extract. Only the finest quality ingredients are used to make our marshmallows. We don't use any flavor enhancers, coloring, or preservatives in any of our marshmallows.
Each flavor comes in 4 oz. packages, containing about 14-18 of our 1" cube marshmallows. The marshmallows are packaged in a sealed poly bag to preserve freshness and adorned with ribbons, ready to give as gifts. Our marshmallows make unique gifts and a great idea for weddings, parties, or get-togethers. You can eat them as snacks, enjoy them in hot chocolate, toast them and make them into smores, dip them in chocolate, or use them in your recipes to create amazing desserts.
All our marshmallows are made in a Health Department Approved licensed facility. We use shared equipment that may also process gluten, nuts of all types, soy, milk, and eggs. If you have allergies, please contact us before ordering.

Vegan marshmallows

We offer vegetarian or vegan marshmallows only for custom orders. Minimum quantities apply. Please contact us at info@lilpuffs.com for pricing. We typically carry one flavor of our vegan marshmallows at the farmers market if you would like to purchase our vegan marshmallows in smaller quantities. Please check our facebook page for the flavor of the week before you head out to the market.

Roasting our marshmallows

Because our marshmallows are made to order, they may be too soft to roast when you first open the package. We recommend that you let them sit out for a couple of hours to form a thin crust before you skewer and roast them.

Storing your marshmallows

Our marshmallows stay fresh and soft when kept in an airtight container. But if you forgot and left your bag open and your marshmallows get a little stale, just put them in a microwave-safe container and heat them in the microwave for 5 seconds to spring them back to life. If you heat them any longer, they will melt. Always store your marshmallows in a cool, dry place. With the exception of our vegan marshmallows, we do not recommend refrigerating them. Our marshmallows are best enjoyed within the first week of purchase. Because there are no preservatives, our marshmallows should be consumed within 4 weeks of purchase.
